How long does lead work last?
Lead is one of the most durable roofing materials available - a properly installed lead flashing or valley can last 50 to 100 years. The key is correct installation with adequate allowance for the expansion and contraction lead goes through as temperatures change. Can lead flashings be repaired, or do they need replacing?
